Breakfast takes place daily in the breakfast room (salle de petit déjeuner) between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast cannot be consumed in the rooms.
Also, we do not have room service.
The patio-terrace is generally open daily until 10 p.m., but may in expectional cases be closed (temporarily) without prior notice.
The Honoré Bar offers a select assortment of wines, beers, soft drinks and snacks to satisfy small appetites. In good faith, guests are free to use this shared Honoré bar which is available 24/7. Costs can be settled in cash or by card upon check-out.

Valkenburg and its surroundings have a wide range of eateries for lunch & dinner that are definitely worth a visit. Here are some of Villa V’s favorite spots;
Cup & Vino: For Valkenburg’s best coffee, breakfast or lunch but also
perfect for Sunday afternoon drinks.
After a nice walk or bike ride Boscafé Tivoli and De Nachtegaal and are pre-eminently the coziest places and offer something for everyone. From a delicious cappuccino to a tasty lunch or from a drink to a tasty dinner.
Or enjoy a lovely meal by the Geul at Bistro Aan de Linde, a charming French bistro with a delicious menu, or at Taverna Nous for a surprisingly tasty and relaxed dining experience.
Gasterij de Koffiemolen, Brasserie Burgemeester Quicx and Taverne ‘t Koetshuis should also not be missing from the list for a nice cup of coffee, delicious piece of Limburg flan, drinks or lunch.
For a good steak and the best spareribs in town be sure to visit Restaurant Meat@Valkenhof.
For pizza, pasta & tapas in a hip setting is Restaurant La Casa definitely worth a visit.
Restaurant Sunndays has a more sophisticated menu with diverse, surprising dishes and delicious wines.
Fancy Asian food? Then Koco Bistro Baris highly recommended.
Finally, the Greek Tavern Christos should not be missed for the best “pita gyros” in the village. Simple but oh so delicious!

Hiking: Voted Hiking Municipality of the Year 2019, Valkenburg offers a wide range of hiking routes in and around the town. From a city walk to a route along the heights of the city, in Valkenburg you will simply make the most beautiful walks in the Netherlands.
Cycling; Explore the Valkenburg area by bicycle and discover the diversity of South Limburg. From picturesque villages to rolling hills, something for everyone. If desired, we can also arrange the rental of a bicycle, e-bike or e-scooter. Feel free to ask about the possibilities!
Marl Caves; visit the secrets of the underground world in the Gemeentegrot and/or Fluweelgrot in Valkenburg. These caves offer many activities such as cave biking, guided tours (by train) and the famous Christmas market the last 6 weeks of the year.
Cable car Valkenburg: South Limburg’s most fun attraction. Go up high with the cable car and enjoy the extraordinary view over Valkenburg. This ride also takes you to the Wilhelminatoren with even more different fun attractions such as tobogganing via 2 tobogganing tracks, mini-golf, zip lining, laser gaming and curling.
